Dr. Jacob Bower, MS DC
Dr. Jacob Bower is a native of the Treasure Valley and is a principal of Prime Sports Med. Prime Sports Med has become one of the largest integrated clinics in Canyon County with two chiropractors, a physical therapist, and four massage therapists. Dr. Bower takes pride in his team giving excellent and quality care. Prior to Chiropractic School from [Palmer], he graduated from the University of Tulsa with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sports Science. He received his Master's Degree in Health and Human Performance from McNeese State University. In addition to pursuing his academic studies, Dr. Bower was a stand-out student-athlete playing quarterback on the football team at both universities. In high school, he was the Idaho Gatorade Player of the Year in basketball in 2003 and in 2007 was named the Junior College Player of the Year for football. Dr. Bower understands the unique demands athletes place on their bodies and is passionate about helping those reach their peak potential.

Dr. Bower’s practice is not limited to elite-level athletes. Dr. Bower believes that everyone engages in the “athletics” of his or her day and that the quality of that individual’s day can be enhanced and improved through proper treatment protocols. Dr. Bower is passionate about helping individuals and families increase and regain their athletic potential so that they can improve the quality of their life.
Dr. Bower is happily married to his wife Rachel Cox of Bakersfield, California. Together they have two boys Wayne (age 10) and Waylon (age 8). Dr. Bower is an Eagle Scout, served a mission for his church, and is active in his community. He has a passion for the outdoors, including fly fishing and hunting.
