Whether you are a high-level competitive athlete or a weekend outdoor enthusiast, chances are you’ve sustained some type of injury during your athletic participation. As former collegiate athletes, all of our doctors understand your desire to get back to being active as quickly as possible. Techniques our doctors often use in sports therapy treatment include laser therapy, hyperice products, heat/ice muscle stimulation, Graston Technique, myofascial release, Rocktape, and cupping therapy.

FAQs
What is laser therapy and how is it performed?
At Prime Sports Med, we use a 20 watt Class 4 Laser from Aspen Lasers. Treatments are performed by positioning the laser hand-piece approximately ½” directly above the skin and surrounding the area of injury and pain with the laser treatment beam. With a repetitive sweeping motion, photons of laser light penetrate the skin and underlying tissue and are absorbed by the cells that convert them into energy.
