Dr. Jacob Bower is a native of the Treasure Valley and is a principal of Prime Sports Med. Prime Sports Med has become one of the largest integrated clinics in Canyon County with two chiropractors, a physical therapist and four massage therapists. Dr. Bower takes pride in his team giving excellent and quality care. Prior to Chiropractic School from [Palmer] he graduated from the University of Tulsa with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sports Science. He received his Masters Degree in Health and Human Performance from McNeese State University. In addition to pursuing his academic studies, Dr. Bower was a stand-out student athlete playing quarterback on the football team at both universities. In high school, he was the Idaho Gatorade Player of the Year in basketball in 2003 and in 2007 was named the Junior College Player of the Year for football. Dr. Bower understands the unique demands athletes place on their bodies and is passionate about helping those reach their peak potential.
Professionally, Dr. Bower is trained and certified in multiple sport and soft tissue treatment protocols. Dr. Bower received his training under Dr. Justin Brink of San Jose, California who is one of the top sports chiropractors in California. While with Dr. Brink, Dr. Bower helped treat some of the top UFC, Boxing, and Crossfit athletes in the country. Dr. Bower has experience treating many conditions and developed treatment plans for numerous high school, college and professional athletes. Dr. Bower also has experience working with high school athletic programs covering on field sports injuries. He is a Crossfit L1 personal trainer and worked in Crossfit Willow Glen for over two years treating sport injuries. Dr. Bower also has advanced training in ozone and vitamin injections and will soon be providing ozone and trigger point injection as well as IV therapy.
Dr. Bower’s practice is not limited to elite level athletes. Dr. Bower believes that everyone engages in the “athletics” of his or her day and that the quality of that individual’s day can be enhanced and improved through proper treatment protocols. Dr. Bower is passionate about helping individuals and families increase and regain their athletic potential so that they can improve the quality of their life.
Dr. Bower is happily married to his wife Rachel Cox of Bakersfield, California. Together they have two boys Wayne (age 7) and Waylon (age 5). Dr. Bower is an Eagle Scout, served a mission for his church, and is the president of the Nampa Lions Club. Dr. Bower is active in his community and loves spending time with his family. He has a passion for the outdoors, including fly fishing and hunting.
Dr. Paul Sartin graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Eastern Washington University in 2014. Prior to receiving his degree in physical therapy, he attended The College of Idaho where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. In addition to pursuing his academic studies, he was a stand out track and cross country athlete where he competed at the national level multiple times. Dr. Sartin attended Bishop Kelly High School where he ran cross country and track as well as participated in a service trip to Tijuana, Mexico to help rebuild houses in the community. With his athletic background, Dr. Sartin understands the unique demands athletes place on their bodies and knows how to work with them and help them reach their peak potential.
Professionally, Dr. Sartin is a certified ASTYM clinician. He has experience treating many conditions and developing treatment plans for many high school and collegiate athletes as well as the everyday active individuals. He believes that physical therapy can be beneficial for everyone of every fitness or activity level as it can help to enhance and improve the quality of life of the individual.
Dr. Sartin enjoys being active in his community and spending his free time running in the Boise foothills or along the green belt. He is also interested in nutrition and learning how proper nutrition can lead to a healthier lifestyle. Dr. Sartin enjoys biking, hiking and cooking.
Dr. Warwick is a graduate and 4 year basketball athlete at Northwest Nazarene University where she obtained a bachelors in kinesiology with an emphasis in athletic training. During her four years there she was a three time all athletic academic team and two years as captain.
Dr. Warwick completed her doctorate of chiropractic at Southern California University of Health Sciences. She was a two year EAC rep for her class and the president of the Christian Chiropractic Club. She is board certified in physiotherapy and rehab, and obtaining her corrective exercises specialty and hope to get a master of nutrition in the near future. Leslie has worked with pro football athletes in their recovery and rehab during offseason at her internship with TCR in upland California and has volunteered over 60 hours at events like the Aids Life Cycle and Healing Hands For Humanity. Leslie is passionate about empowering patients to take control of their health and specializes in soft tissue techniques like FAKTR, ART, and many others.
